Liming Elementary began in 1949 as the "Chukou Branch" of Minhe Elementary, gaining independence in 1954 — the founding year celebrated in its 70th-anniversary commemorative school journal published in 2024. The school runs an attached preschool and is a small institution, with one class per grade from grades 1 through 6 plus preschool. It has been designated a "Green Partner School" (綠色夥伴學校) in recognition of its environmental programming.
黎明國小前身為民和國小的「觸口分校」，設立於民國38年（1949年）；民國43年（1954年）獨立設校，並於2024年出版「七十週年紀念校刊」慶祝建校七十週年。學校附設幼兒園，規模小巧，一至六年級每年級僅一班，並曾獲評選為「綠色夥伴學校」，肯定其環境教育成果。
