Guangrong Elementary School

Guangrong Elementary was established on May 1, 1921, as a satellite classroom of Niutiaowan Public School, initially housed in the Dexing Temple with 70 students. It became an independent school in 1937, was renamed after Taiwan's 1945 retrocession, and took its current name in 1968 under the nine-year compulsory education reform. It marked its "centennial" around 2021–2022. Since September 2021, the school has operated as a KIST (public-private partnership) experimental school in collaboration with the Chen Zhi Education Foundation and the Linye Sheng Foundation, and now enrolls only about 55 elementary students across 6 classes, plus 18 kindergarteners, alongside a campus solar power installation and English self-assessment programs.

光榮國小創立於大正10年（1921年）5月1日，最初為牛挑灣公學校東後寮分離教室，暫借德興寺為校舍，初期學生70人。1937年獨立設校為「東後寮公學校」，1945年台灣光復後更名，並於民國57年（1968年）九年國教改制後定名為現名，約於2021至2022年慶祝建校百年。自2021年9月起，學校轉型為KIST公辦民營實驗學校，與誠致教育基金會及林業生基金會合作辦學，目前僅約55名國小學生、6個班級，加上18名幼兒園學童，校內並設有太陽能發電設施及英語自我評量計畫。
