National Chiayi Home Economics Vocational Senior High School

National Chiayi Home Economics Vocational Senior High School was founded in 1954 as the only vocational high school in Taiwan dedicated exclusively to home economics. In 1968, under the nine-year compulsory education reform, it became a senior-division-only school, and in 2000 it was reorganized as a national school. For sixty years the school admitted only female students, until 2015, when it began admitting male students for the first time.

嘉義家職創立於民國43年（1954年），是全臺唯一專攻家事類科的高級職業學校。民國57年（1968年），因應九年國教改制，改為僅設高職部。民國89年（2000年）改隸為國立學校。該校原為女子學校，六十年來僅招收女學生，直到民國104年（2015年）才首度招收男學生。
