National Chiayi Commercial Vocational Senior High School

National Chiayi Commercial Vocational Senior High School was founded on April 1, 1938, under Japanese rule, as Tainan Prefecture Chiayi Commercial School — predating Taiwan's 1945 retrocession. It took its current name in 2000, and has long been recognized as one of Taiwan's "Eight Great Provincial Commercial Schools," a group of historic institutions central to the island's business education. In 1967, the school established Taiwan's first Advertising Design program.

嘉義高商創立於1938年（昭和13年）4月1日，日治時期名為臺南州立嘉義商業學校，早於1945年臺灣光復。民國89年（2000年）改為現名。學校長期被譽為臺灣「八大省立商職」之一，是臺灣商業教育史上重要的指標學校。民國56年（1967年），該校創設全臺第一個廣告設計科。
