Tzu-Wen Elementary School

Tzu-Wen Elementary began as the "慈文分校" (Ciwen Branch) of Bei-Men (North Gate) Elementary, approved on July 8, 1997 and opening for instruction in August 1998 with 14 classes and 516 students under founding principal Zhang Xian-kun. It became independent in 1999. The school is designated one of Taoyuan City's Health Promotion Schools, runs more than 20 student clubs — over a third of them sports-related — and inaugurated its "思源亭" (Siyuan Pavilion) on October 10, 2013 as part of a city-wide character-education initiative.

慈文國小前身為北門國小「慈文分校」，於民國86年（1997年）7月8日核准設立，民國87年（1998年）8月正式開學，共14班、516名學生，首任校長為張賢崑。民國88年（1999年）獨立設校。學校獲指定為桃園市健康促進學校之一，設有20餘個學生社團，逾三分之一為體育性社團，並於2013年10月10日啟用「思源亭」，為全市品格教育計畫的一環。
