Chishan Elementary School

Chishan Elementary School, founded in 1953, is a small rural school at the foot of Dawu Mountain serving Chishan and Wanjin Villages, with an enrollment of only 62 students as of its 70th-anniversary celebration in December 2023. The school received NT$8.28 million in central-government funding for a new synthetic rubber running track and renovated basketball courts, completed in late 2023, and is designated a "12-year curriculum pilot school," "technology-assisted learning school," and "5G smart learning school."

赤山國小創校於民國42年（1953年），是位於大武山腳下的小型鄉村學校，服務赤山與萬金兩村，截至民國112年（2023年）12月70週年校慶時，全校僅62名學生。學校獲中央政府新台幣828萬元補助，興建新的PU跑道並整修籃球場，已於2023年底完工，並獲指定為「十二年國教前導學校」、「科技輔助自主學習學校」與「5G智慧學習學校」。
