Chianchiu Elementary School

Chianchiu Elementary School was established around 1975 (ROC 64), based on the school's reported 50th-anniversary observance. The school has built a distinctive identity through its baseball program — the team placed second in the 2026 National Cup Baseball Championship — alongside an African drum performance program that gives students a hands-on music tradition outside the typical curriculum. Chianchiu also runs indigenous-language education and certification support, reflecting Nantou City's mixed Hoklo, Hakka, and Indigenous community fabric near the county seat.

千秋國小創立於民國64年（1975年）左右，依據學校近期舉辦五十週年校慶推算而來。學校透過棒球運動建立起獨特的校園特色——校隊在2026年全國盃棒球錦標賽榮獲亞軍——並設有非洲鼓表演課程，讓學生在正規課程之外接觸不同的音樂傳統。千秋國小也推動原住民語教育及族語認證輔導，呼應南投市治周邊閩、客、原住民混合的社區樣貌。
