Chenggong High School

Chenggong High School was founded in 1922 at Wanhua's Qingshan Temple as "Taipei Prefecture Taipei Second Middle School," moving to its current Jinan Road campus in 1925. It was renamed "Taiwan Provincial Taipei Chenggong Middle School" in 1946 and took its present name, "Taipei Municipal Chenggong Senior High School," in 1969. The school's Chinese name — "成功," meaning "success" — honors Koxinga (Zheng Chenggong / 鄭成功), the Ming-loyalist general who landed in Taiwan in 1661, and the school celebrates its anniversary each May 17 to mark that landing. Students and alumni affectionately call the school "濟城" (Jicheng, "the Jinan-Road fortress"), after its address, and it counts more than 60,000 alumni across a century of operation.

成功高中創立於大正11年（1922年），初設於萬華青山宮，稱「台北州立台北第二中學校」，1925年遷至現址濟南路。1946年改制為「台灣省立台北成功中學」，1969年定名為「臺北市立成功高級中學」。校名「成功」取自明鄭時期於1661年登陸台灣的鄭成功（國姓爺），學校每年5月17日校慶即紀念此登陸日。師生與校友暱稱本校為「濟城」，取自濟南路校址之意，建校百餘年來校友已逾6萬人。
