Tung Der High School was approved for founding in August 1970 as Peiying Industrial-Vocational School, offering programs in electronics, drafting, auto repair, and business. The school was renamed under its current 'Tung Der School Foundation' name effective August 1, 2020. Over the decades it has steadily expanded its facilities, adding a hospitality and tourism building in 2010, renovating its library in 2011, building beauty-program classrooms in 2012, and completing a food-science building in 2013.
同德高中前身為「培英工商」，於民國59年（1970年）8月獲准創校，設有電子、製圖、汽修、商業等科別。學校於民國109年（2020年）8月1日起正式更名為現用的「同德學校財團法人」校名。多年來持續擴建校舍，2010年增建餐旅大樓，2011年整修圖書館，2012年興建美容科教室，2013年完成食品科大樓。
