Hushan Elementary School was established in 1992 to relieve overcrowding at nearby Yanfeng Elementary School and shorten students' daily commute, beginning to enroll students in 1994 after a two-year preparatory period that cost roughly NT$125 million. The school sits at the foot of Da Hushan (Big Tiger Mountain), from which it takes its name, and today offers 3D design and coding instruction as part of its curriculum.
虎山國小成立於民國81年(1992年),旨在紓解鄰近炎峰國小的班級擁擠問題,並縮短學生上學通勤時間,歷經兩年籌備、耗資約新台幣1.25億元,於民國83年(1994年)開始招生。學校座落於大虎山腳下,校名由此而來,如今課程中納入3D設計與程式教育。
