Binjiang Experimental Junior High School

Binjiang Experimental Junior High School broke ground in September 2002 under then-mayor Ma Ying-jeou, opening as "Taipei Municipal Binjiang Junior High School" in November 2005. In 2019-20, following a faculty vote, the school converted to a full "experimental education" model and took its current name, becoming an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school in April 2020.

In April 2022, Binjiang became Taiwan's first public junior high school to achieve full IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) authorization; its IB "World School" plaque was unveiled that July by then-mayor Ko Wen-je. The campus sits in the Dazhi Riverside redevelopment zone near the Keelung River, an area transformed from riverside farmland into a planned high-rise district since the 1990s river-straightening project.

濱江實驗國中於2002年9月由時任市長馬英九主持動土，2005年11月以「臺北市立濱江國民中學」之名正式開校，同樣由馬英九市長主持啟用典禮。2019至2020年間經校務會議表決通過，全校轉型為實驗教育並更為現名，2020年4月成為IB國際文憑候選學校。

2022年4月，濱江成為全臺第一所取得IB中學課程（MYP）完整認證的公立國中；同年7月，時任市長柯文哲親自為學校揭牌「IB世界學校」。校園座落於基隆河畔的大直濱江重劃區，這一帶自1990年代基隆河截彎取直工程後，由河濱農地蛻變為規劃完善的高樓住宅區。
