Bailing Elementary School

Bailing Elementary School was founded in July 1970 as "Yangmingshan Management Bureau Hougang Elementary School," opening with 24 classes. Because neighboring Shilin Elementary was overcrowded at the time, students registered in Hougang Village were reassigned here, producing its first graduating class as early as 1971 — just one year after founding. The school was renamed "Bailing Elementary School" in 1974 due to its proximity to the Bailing Bridge spanning the Keelung River, and it now feeds into the neighboring Bailing Senior High School, which itself began as a junior high in the same area.

百齡國小創立於民國59年（1970年）7月，初名「陽明山管理局後港國民小學」，創校之初即設24班。由於當時鄰近的士林國小學生過多，後港里學區學生被轉分配至此，因此創校僅一年後、民國60年（1971年）即產生第一屆畢業生。民國63年（1974年）因鄰近基隆河上的百齡橋，學校更名為「百齡國民小學」，如今學區銜接鄰近的百齡高中——該校本身也是從同一地區的國中發展而來。
