Baihe Junior High School

Baihe Junior High began in 1961 as a Baihe branch campus of Tainan County Nanxin Junior High School, becoming an independent school in autumn 1963 as "Tainan County Baihe Junior High School." It was renamed under nine-year compulsory education in 1968 and took its current municipal name after the 2010 Tainan city-county merger. As the sole public junior high for Baihe District, it draws students from the town center out to the lotus-farming and Guanziling hot-spring hinterlands.

白河國中創立於民國50年（1961年），初為臺南縣南新國中白河分部，民國52年（1963年）秋獨立設校，定名「臺南縣白河國民中學」；民國57年（1968年）九年國教實施後改名，民國99年（2010年）縣市合併後改為現名。作為白河區唯一的公立國中，學區涵蓋市區至西側蓮田與東側關子嶺溫泉一帶的丘陵聚落。
