A fishing-village school that grew into a complete high school.
Badou Senior High School began in 1977 as a junior high preparatory office set up to serve students in the Badouzi fishing harbor area. It was renamed several times in its early years — first Badei Junior High in 1982, then Badou Junior High in 1983 — before a senior high division was added in 2011, transforming it into a "complete school" spanning both junior and senior high. The school has run a gifted physical education program since 1996 and a science experimental class since 2000.
