From junior high to a full high school, six decades on.
Anle Senior High traces its history to 1966, when it was founded as "Keelung Municipal 6th Junior High School." Under the nine-year compulsory education reform of 1968, it was renamed first Jiande and then Anle Junior High. The school grew into a full junior-and-senior high school by 1999–2000, taking its current name in November 2000. Today it is recognized nationally for a marine-education program that takes students out of the classroom and onto Keelung's coastline.
安樂高中的歷史可追溯至1966年（民國55年），創校時名為「基隆市立第六初級中學」。民國57年（1968年）九年國教改制後，先後更名為建德國中、安樂國中。學校於1999至2000年間發展為完全中學，並於2000年11月正式定名為現名。如今學校以海洋教育課程聞名全國，帶領學生走出教室、走向基隆的海岸線。
