Aimen Elementary School

Aimen Elementary was founded in 1910 as a branch of Huxi Public School at Aimen, becoming independent as "Aimen Public School" in 1918. It was reorganized as "Huxi No. 2 Public School" in 1922 and took its current name in 1968. The school sits adjacent to Penghu Airport, about a ten-minute drive from Magong city center, and its district covers Aimen, Lintou, and Taiwu villages. Since January 1976, it has fielded a table tennis team that has produced several national-team players, many of whom return to visit their alma mater.

隘門國小創立於明治43年（1910年），最初為湖西公學校設於隘門的分校，民國7年（1918年）獨立設校，定名「隘門公學校」，民國11年（1922年）改組為「湖西第二公學校」，民國57年（1968年）定名為現名。學校緊鄰澎湖機場，車程距馬公市區約十分鐘，學區涵蓋隘門、林投、太武三個村里。自民國65年（1976年）1月起組建桌球隊，培育出多位國手，許多校友至今仍不時返校探望母校。
